BLA Water Tests

 

Boone Lake water test results for September 30, 2026, 9 sites. Green means meets the threshold, yellow close to it, red exceeds it. Winged Deer: all rated tests meet thresholds. Pickens Bridge: E. coli meets, with a caution for sensitive populations. Dam Beach: all rated tests meet thresholds. Point 9 (Muddy Creek): all rated tests meet thresholds. Beaver Creek: E. coli meets, with a caution for sensitive populations. Point 17: all rated tests meet thresholds. Dam TVA Boat Ramp: all rated tests meet thresholds. Rainbow Bridge: all rated tests meet thresholds. Hwy 11E @ Bluff City: all rated tests meet thresholds. Sensitive population caution: Sample results showed elevated bacteria this week at Pickens Bridge, Beaver Creek. Bacteria exposure carries higher risk for pregnant women, infants under 2, and immunocompromised individuals. Cove and slack-water caution: ✓ No open-water site read above 80°F this week. Slack water in coves can still run warmer than the open-water sites shown here; use judgment in visibly stagnant, scummy, or discolored water regardless of this caution's status. pH is measured with a test strip and read to the nearest whole number, so pH ratings are approximate.
